WWF's support for ESD:
WWF believes that weaving an ESD thread from the early learner right through to the school leaver will maximise its impact as we work towards achieving a sustainable future. Teachers play a critical role in driving both local education reform and ESD; WWF strives to continuously support them in their endeavours through the provision of multiplier training programmes, which enhance teachers' skills and confidence to deliver effective ESD in schools (Fig. 1). Empowering teachers in this way is one of WWF's key educational strategies.

Our natural environment is a living classroom for teachers and students (Fig. 2). To widen students' vision, knowledge and creative thinking, WWF is pleased to be the stakeholder in Hong Kong's primary curriculum by providing both professional assistance and quality education resources. This pack is one example of how we promote ESD for teachers and students as we strive towards a sustainable future.

By collaborating with local schools, students have a chance to learn in a more interactive and lively way to stimulate their interest in nature (Fig. 3). At the same time, positive values and attitudes will be fostered which hopefully will direct them towards adopting sustainable lifestyles in the future.
